Submitting the application for the verification of foreign qualifications
Postgraduate programs and specialization courses
If you have a foreign qualification or degree that has not been declared as equivalent by an Italian academic authority, you need to ask for its verification. This validation is only valid for enrolling in the course you’ve chosen.
How to ask for verification:
- Fill out and apply your original signature on this form
- Upload it in the online enrollment procedure (Attachments) and include
- Original foreign degree or qualification obtained abroad, with its translation into Italian and legalization.
- One of the following documents: Diploma Supplement; a Statement of on-site value provided by the competent Italian diplomatic representation abroad; a Statement of comparability provided by CIMEA.
When to ask for the verification
If the postgraduate program/course involves an admission test, the verification of non-Italian qualifications must be requested when enrolling in the test.
If access to the postgraduate program/course is subject-to-availability or open, the verification of non-Italian qualifications must be requested during the enrolment process.
Admission is conditional until the positive completion of the verification process. It may be revoked without the required prerequisites.
